What you are signing up for

Diarize reads tasks from the services you connect and writes time blocks into the calendar you nominate. It does not replace your task app or your calendar, and it stops working on them the moment you disconnect or delete your account.

We only create, move and remove blocks that we created. Those blocks are identifiable by a marker in their description. We never edit or delete anything else on your calendar.

Plans and payment

The free plan covers one task source and one calendar, with your schedule rebuilt once a day. It is not a time-limited trial.

The paid plan is $5 per month, billed by Stripe. It adds unlimited connections and rebuilds your schedule within seconds of a change rather than once a day. Cancel any time from the billing page; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, then reverts to free. We do not delete your data when you downgrade.

What we ask of you

Use your own accounts, do not attempt to access anyone else's data, and do not try to overwhelm the service. Connecting accounts you are not entitled to connect is the one thing that will get an account closed without warning.

Interruptions and changes

Diarize depends on Google, Microsoft, Todoist, Notion and TickTick. When one of them is unavailable, changes rely on our slower polling instead, and when one of them changes an API we may need time to catch up. We will not silently degrade your plan — the dashboard shows whether syncing is live.

You can export everything we hold, or delete your account entirely, at any time from your account page.

What we do not promise

Diarize is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular schedule it produces will suit you. Automatic scheduling is a suggestion written into your calendar, not a commitment made on your behalf: you are responsible for what you actually do with your time, for meeting your own deadlines, and for checking anything that matters before you rely on it.

We depend on services we do not control. If Google, Microsoft, Todoist, Notion or TickTick is unavailable, changes an API, or revokes our access, parts of Diarize will stop working until we catch up.

Limits on what we owe you

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — including lost profit, lost business, lost opportunity, or a missed deadline — arising from your use of Diarize.

Where we are liable, our total liability to you for all claims in any twelve month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. On the free plan that amount is nothing, which is the honest consequence of not charging you.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

If something goes wrong between us

Email us first. Almost everything is a misunderstanding about what the scheduler did, and the run history on your dashboard usually settles it in a minute — every block records the reason it was placed where it was.

If you use Diarize on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are entitled to connect the accounts you connect, and you accept responsibility for claims that arise from connecting accounts you were not entitled to.

Changes to these terms

We will email you before any change that materially reduces what you get or increases what you pay, and the change takes effect at your next billing period so you can cancel first. Smaller corrections are published here with the date at the top of this page.
