Diarized

Switching / Sunsama

Diarized: a Sunsama alternative

A daily planning ritual: every morning you pull tasks in and place them on your day by hand.

What is different here

Sunsama is deliberately manual, because the planning is the product, and people who love it love that. Diarized is the opposite trade: the day gets built for you and you look at it if you want to. Worth being clear which one you actually want before switching, because this is a difference in kind rather than in quality.

Moving over

  1. Keep the task app Sunsama was pulling from and connect it here.

Sunsama is $20 a month, or $16 billed annually, with no free plan (August 2026).

What you keep

  • Your to-do list stays where it is. Diarized reads Asana, Google Tasks, Todoist, Microsoft To Do, Notion, TickTick, Linear, Jira and ClickUp, and writes nothing back except the blocks you asked for.
  • Your calendar stays yours. Blocks go into Google or Outlook, so you keep reading your day in whatever you already use.
  • Your history stays intact. Nothing is imported, so there is nothing to export if you leave again.

Start free One task app and one calendar, at no cost, with no card.
